Stitches with Love

Gillian's cross-stitching fills the need to leave behind something she has created with great patience, time and love for future generations, and is central to all of her work. Always eager to experiment with new stitches, threads and techniques, many of her pieces have taken in excess of a year to complete.

Fashion Camp

The course started with the students making sketches of shoulder bags. Choosing fabrics from the big piles quickly resulted in the inspired drawings of pieces of wearable clothing, followed by pattern drafting, cutting, sewing, fitting and learning about textiles…all in one week.
